Mexican legendary singer Jose Jose who was a well known figure among Latin American speakers has died. His death comes as a shock to many Latin Americans. It is quite unfortunate that people will now be devoid of the musical treasures he offered listeners. The remarkable musician died at the age of 71. He died right here in the United States at a hospital in Miami, Florida. His death was confirmed by his assistant. Pancreatic cancer was the result of his death.

He was born Jose Romulo Sosa Ortiz. He became really popular during the 1970s. During that time he represented Mexico and sang “El Triste” at the Latin Song Festival II. Within a short amount of time, he reached the top of Latin charts. He became quite known for his skilled singing of difficult tunes and became a music icon in Latin America. He received many Grammy nominations as well.

Due to his renowned music career, he was referred to as The Prince of Song or El príncipe de la canción. The Latin American legend will always be remembered for his songs that mesmerized Latin American audiences. His popular songs include My Life and The World.
