Tinder, the social networking dating app is changing the face of dating with a brand new simulation adventure game called Swipe Night.
Today Tinder confirmed the rumors that it is in fact truly modernizing dating. With the introduction of their Swipe Night, users can now date in an entirely different fashion. Swipe night is an apocalyptic adventure game which follows a group of friends on an adventure around the world.
The user will assume the first person role as a member of the group and at key turning points will face difficult challenges and will have the ability to decide how the plot unfolds. That is not all what you make of the plot and how you deal with it will be added to your profile. Your matches will have the chance to see how you deal in tense situations.
The game will launch on 6th of October this year. Tinder will release a new episode on every Sunday. The first season in Swipe Night will be of six episodes. Tinder stated in a blog post;
“Now that half of Tinder members are Gen Z (18-25), we’ve built an entire experience that speaks their language, We can’t think of a better way to break the ice than over emojis and the apocalypse.”
Tinder’s Swipe Night is directed by none other than Karena Evans. She is the brains behind music videos for Drake. Evans has won the BET 2019 Best Director of The Year Award and is currently working with writers of HBO’s insecure and Netflix’s Big Mouth. One can feel optimistic about Swipe Night for sure knowing the directing genius is behind the wheels of this cool idea.
