Crew members of Country and Gospel singer Josh Turner have been involved in a bus accident leaving one person dead while seven people have been injured.
A passenger bus has been involved in an accident in central California according to authorities. Crew members for Country and Gospel singer Josh Turner were onboard that bus. Seven people have been injured while one person has died.
Josh Turner and his band were not on that bus. Two people on the bus have suffered major injuries while the injuries of the other five people have been moderate. The bus crashed in Shandon on late Wednesday night while it was traveling eastbound on Highway 46 in San Luis Obipso County. The driver left the road and drove 20 yards through vegetation and then he hit the riverbed. It is unclear why he did that.
Universal Music Group, the record label to which Josh Turner and his band are signed to came up with the following statement:- “Josh Turner and his road family have suffered a devastating loss. Please keep the crew, band and Josh in your thoughts and prayers.
All remaining shows in September will be rescheduled for a later date.”
The tour bus was going towards Washington State. Following the tragic news, Josh Turner and Universal Music Group postponed their tour dates for this month.
